A man hit a bus driver in Dorset over the head and kicked him on the floor after the driver challenged him for not wearing a mandatory face covering.
The attack took place at about 4 p.m. on Wednesday 22nd July when the driver refused to let the man board the bus in Charminster Road, Charminster.
Police said the man was verbally aggressive towards the driver and pushed his way onto the bus.
The man hit the driver over the head with a beer can and pushed him to the floor when the driver tried to remove the man from the bus.
