A bus in Oxford, Oxfordshire, was at the centre of a ‘frightening’ incident when a metal object — thrown from a bridge — lodged in its window.
The Oxford Bus Company double-decker had been travelling through Blackbird Leys to its depot in Cowley on Saturday 14th November.
Managing director Phil Southall said: ‘Thankfully no one was injured in this mindless act of vandalism.’
The bus was not in service when the pole struck the upper-deck window, piercing the glass.
