A court has jailed a school bus driver for causing life-changing injuries to three children on board his bus, which had struck a bridge in Hampshire.
The railway bridge in Winchester tore the bus’s roof off when the double-decker smashed into it on Thursday 10th September 2020.
The driver, Martin Walker, mistakenly believed the bus would fit under the bridge, Winchester Crown Court heard.
The 37-year-old admitted three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and the court jailed him for three years.
