Toddler pricked by syringe on Glasgow bus

A three-year-old girl on a bus in Glasgow, west-central Scotland, was hospitalised after pricking herself on a syringe.

The alarm was raised at about 1.40 p.m. on Monday 21st October and the toddler received treatment at the Royal Hospital for Children.

First Glasgow confirmed it had launched an investigation into the incident, which took place on the number 61 service in Summerston.

Reports suggest that the child, now released from hospital, sustained an injury from a syringe left on a bus seat.
