Bus station plans set for approval

The council is set to approve plans for a new bus station, apartment blocks, offices, and shop units in Cardiff, southern Wales.

The 14-bay bus station would stand on the former Marland House car park, which is next to the old bus station.

There would be a 22-storey giant tower block, with 305 flats, at Wood Street and a nine-storey block in Marland Street, with an office block at Saunders Road.

The bus station was due to open in 2017 but changes to the wider plans have held it up.
