Bus windows smashed by vandals

Vandals have targeted a school bus with students on board in Neath and Port Talbot, southern Wales, leaving the children ‘shaken’.

Pupils from Ysgol Cwm Brombil were travelling home on a Ridgways Coaches-owned bus when bricks were thrown whilst the vehicle was stationary at traffic lights on Abbey Road, Taibach, Port Talbot.

No one on board sustained any injuries but the vandals smashed two of the bus windows at about 3.30 p.m.

South Wales Police has said it is investigating the incident, believed to involve three people wearing hooded tops.
