The removal of part of a cycle lane in East Sussex is under way to address ‘unacceptable’ delays to bus journeys caused by its installation.
The temporary lane in Brighton came about in a bid to promote the use of sustainable transport.
Work to remove a 600-m (656-yd) section of the cycle lane on the A259 began yesterday.
Brighton & Hove Buses has welcomed the change after passengers complained of delays.
