The route 663 bus runs from Lordshill to Winchester; the stop here is the only one in Southampton from which a Stagecoach bus begins its journey.

This is the only outbound stop that the route 661 makes in Southampton; it passes through Lordshill, from Calmore, on its way to Winchester.

It’s nice to see Xelabus here on the route 67 service. They only ran it for a short time before Stagecoach in Hampshire took it over once more.

The X1 (later renumbered X35) used to provide a regular bus service from Southampton to this stop at Burley; those days are long gone.

It had been a long time since First Southampton had run a bus service here, so this Scrag Hill shelter (what’s left of it) at North Baddesley was obsolete.

If you use this shelter to wait for the route 67 Stagecoach in Hampshire service to Petersfield, do take care; all those stinging nettles are a bit of a hazard.

An unused Explorer ticket from the final batch produced by Go South Coast. Accepted, at its peak, across 13 counties, this scratch-card variety disappeared at the end of 2012; however, it remained valid until Thursday 31st January 2013.
