A council has granted planning permission for a £3.5million park-and-ride site to improve transport links between Gloucestershire and Bristol.
The West of England Combined Authority (WECA) is paying for the project, which requires a final sign-off by the government.
South Gloucestershire Council hopes the site, which will include 190 car park spaces at Yate, will be operating by March 2021.
Luke Hall (b. 1986), MP for Thornbury and Yate, said the park-and-ride scheme was ‘a major step forward’.
