Five nights of work to remove a temporary bus lane on the A3024 — a main route into Southampton, Hampshire — is set to begin.
The work on Bitterne Road West, in the Bitterne area of the city, will continue until the morning of Saturday 26th June.
Sections of the road — between Maybray King Way and Northam Bridge, Northam — will remain closed between 8p.m. and 6a.m. until the completion of the work.
The Conservatives pledged to remove the bus lane after gaining control of the city council from Labour last month.
