Driver charged over crash

Police have charged a bus driver over the death of a woman in a crash between two buses outside London Victoria Station in Victoria, Greater London.

Melissa Burr, who was 32, died in August 2021 when two single-decker route 507 buses crashed into each other.

Officers charged Olusofa Popoola with causing death by dangerous driving and seriously injuring another woman.

Mr Popoola appeared yesterday at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, Marylebone, following the charges.
