Alton Public Gardens

Alton Public Gardens, in the centre of town, spans 1.8 ha (4.5 ac). Here you will find well-kept lawns, trees, shrubs, flowerbeds, and a play area for children; there is also a bowling green and clubhouse. The jewel in the crown, however, has to be the bandstand, which provides an ideal setting for free musical concerts.
