Branksome Chine Gardens

It is late summer in the Branksome Park area of Poole, Dorset. With trees on both sides and a stream to the right, this is the main path within Branksome Chine Gardens.

Travel Details
From the St Osmund’s School stop in Salisbury, Wiltshire, we caught the X3 bus, run by More, to Bournemouth, Dorset. We then took a pleasant stroll along the promenade to our destination.

About the Destination
Branksome Chine Gardens — a ‘chine’ being a deep ravine in a cliff wall — lie within two conservation areas. If you want a bit of peace and quiet away from the beach, which is just a short walk away, this is the ideal place to come to.
