St Catherine’s Hill Mismaze

Here on the edge of Winchester you will find one of just eight surviving historic turf mazes in the country. Cut from nine ‘nested’ squares, it measures 624 m (682 yd) in length. Restored many times, it is likely that the pattern has changed slightly with each re-cut; the original design, however, remains a genuine puzzle.
