This pleasant Hampshire – Berkshire service ran between two towns — Andover and Newbury; it also served Enham Alamein, Hurstbourne Tarrant, Highclere, Burghclere, Greenham, and Wash Common.

According to Hampshire County Council (HCC), the route 7/7A services did not have enough passengers using them for funding to continue; they therefore ceased running as of 30th August. This has led to much anger from affected passengers.
