Cheaper fares in two cities

A metro mayor has urged people to use buses after he confirmed there would be cheaper single and return tickets in both Bristol and Bath.
Dan Norris made the appeal after announcing that operators will reduce the cost of all single fares in the two cities to £2 for adults; returns will cost £3.50.

Children will pay a flat rate of just £1 for tickets across the whole of the West of England region.
From Sunday 25th September, however, day rider tickets in Bristol will increase from £5.30 to £6.
