Police probe station fire

Thames Valley Police is investigating a large fire, which spread through a bus station in Slough, Berkshire.

The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) received the call to attend the blaze, which had spread across the whole of the bus station’s roof, at 01 52 (1.52 a.m.) yesterday morning.

Thames Valley Police is ‘keeping an open mind’

The RBFRS confirmed it had extinguished the fire by 15 30 (3.30 p.m.) and that the police were investigating the circumstances of the blaze.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: ‘We are keeping an open mind as to the cause, and remain on scene at this time.’
