Bus crash injures two girls

Two girls are in hospital after being involved in a crash with a bus in Stamford Hill, Greater London.

The crash occurred at 17 02 (5.02 p.m.) at the A10 (Stamford Hill) and A107 (Amhurst Park) junction, the Metropolitan Police said.

Both girls, said to be 14 years old, received treatment at the scene; one of the girls, reports suggest, has life-threatening injuries, the force added.

The driver of the double-decker bus stopped at the scene; the Met has not made any arrests so far.
