Hundreds sign bus petition

More than 600 people have signed a petition to save a bus route in Gloucestershire that its operator is set to axe.

Stagecoach will remove 12 routes across the county which, together, amount to 300,000 bus journeys a year.

The bus connecting Woodmancote and Cheltenham is among the routes the firm plans to withdraw on Sunday 27th November and residents want bosses to reconsider.

Stagecoach West said the service had become financially unsustainable due to low passenger numbers.
