Free bus rides in Berkshire

Bus journeys in some areas of Berkshire will be free until December to reduce carbon emissions and to help people struggling with cost of living pressures.

Free travel will be available in the west of the county on Thursday 17th, Saturday 19th, and Saturday 26th November as well as every Saturday in December until Christmas Eve.

Some villages that do not usually have bus services on Saturdays will get free ones over the same period.

Bus journeys to Reading will also be free, as will cross-county services to Basingstoke in Hampshire and Swindon in Wiltshire.
