This is the Sussex Place district of Southampton, Hampshire. Stop CU is the departure point for two bus services out of the city; Bluestar, which is part of Go South Coast, runs both of them.

The second service that runs from this stop is the route 2 to Fair Oak; this runs via Portswood, Swaythling, and Eastleigh.

It is late summer — and just under six months since the start of the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic — in the photo. Notice the man standing at the bus stop wearing a face mask; it was compulsory to wear one when using public transport at this time.
