The Three to Lordshill

Branded ‘the three’, this local bus ran between Lordshill and Thornhill; it also served Shirley, Blechynden, Woolston, and Sholing. A frequent service, it ran every 10 – 20 minutes, seven days a week.

When First Southampton ended its services in the city in 2023, the three disappeared as well. Bluestar, which is part of Go South Coast, still serves Thornhill with its route 18 bus; however, this departs from Millbrook, not Lordshill. (The route 7 bus, also run by Bluestar, connects Lordshill to Millbrook.)
