Driver arrested over death

Police have arrested a bus driver following the death of a male pedestrian in a collision in Greater London.

The 40-year-old man sustained serious injuries when the bus struck him, and died later in hospital.

The collision occurred on Saturday 21st January, at the junction of Cranford Lane and Armytage Road, in Hounslow.

Police arrested the driver, a 59-year-old man, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene.
