Bus cuts will ‘isolate’ son

The mother of a teenager with a rare genetic condition says the loss of two bus routes means her son will be ‘isolated’ in their Somerset village.

Two services that connect High Littleton to Bristol and Bath are both facing the axe in the first part of the year.

Stacey says her 16-year-old son, Josh, had been learning the bus routes in order to travel to college independently.

B&NES [Bath & North East Somerset] Council said alternative transport would replace the two lost routes.
