The RP1 serves all the Richmond Park car parks; it also serves Ladderstile Gate, Richmond Gate, Pembroke Lodge, and Isabella Plantation.

The bus runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; it starts and ends at the barrier in Danebury Avenue on the Roehampton Estate.

Private donations to the Royal Parks fund the service.
